What’s new?

Catnip Casa Cat Refuge has a sweet surprise! If you love good donuts and want to save money, watch for our Krispy Kreme Fundraiser to start June 1 and run through August 15. It’s easy to buy online, usually costs less than in the store, and you help the cats. You can order them as gifts, take them to the office, or buy them fresh while on that summer road trip. Good anywhere in the US.

Your purchases help pay for veterinary bills, medications, prescription diets, and even a few toys!

Our Mission

Catnip Casa Cat Refuge provides care for cats that require extensive rehab or lifelong pawspice care due to age, disease, or disabilities that do not allow them to live in a normal home due to medical needs or behavioral challenges. In the case of community cats, they are unable to function in their natural environment.

We also support TNR (trap, neuter, return) with training, education, and equipment. In 2023, we are expanding our support and resources for community cats. Watch for more information!

Sponsor a Special Needs or Senior Cat today!

The cats we serve have the potential to live well with specialized care. We strive to keep their environment safe and normal while addressing challenging needs.

If you need more help, please contact Austin Pets Alive PASS program. They have resources for many kinds of assistance.

If you adopted your animal from a shelter or rescue organization, most organizations take back any pet you adopted from them. In fact, it is a requirement in many adoption contracts. Please call and ask before taking your pet to a shelter. Do not give a pet away for free!
