Hi everyone, Tiger is back and needs a home. Her owner is no longer able to live independently. Would you like to adopt Tiger? She’s a very special girl and we want her to be happy and secure again. You can tell by her friendly behavior that she was very much loved.
Unfortunately, her home life has been unstable. She and a kitty friend lost two homes through no fault of their own. It’s been a rough ride for a girl that’s only three years old. Now, she’s alone and needs a forever family.
Tiger is young, quiet, shy, and loving. She’s affectionate and loves toys, as you can see in the video on our Home page.
She lived with another cat and got along fine. You might remember Tiger and her roommate, CAT, from our respite care program. They came from the same owner but they are not bonded. We don’t even know how long they were together.
Tiger is generally submissive to other cats based on our short-term observations, which means she won’t do well if the other cat is a bully. We’re still assessing how well she’ll do with a friendly, gentle dog. Our little shelter dog is a great helper and speaks cat quite well. She was a bit nervous when she first saw him, but no freaking out. That’s a very good sign. We’ll continue the introductions and update our information when we know more. She has only met this one small dog, as far as we know.
Tiger’s past homes have been with adults or a single adult. Love is her middle name. She craves lots of interactive playtime with wand toys. If you want a cat that will respond to the wands and feathers and toys you dangle, this girl will keep you entertained!
This pretty little lady cat is spayed, current on vaccinations, microchipped, and combo tested (negative/negative). Do you want a gentle, sweet companion? Do you enjoy having a kitty lay next to you or on your lap while you relax? Do you enjoy giving out lots of love and pets? You’ll be a great match! Know someone who fits with this type of kitty? Our gentle little lady will reward you with love, entertainment, and sweetness.
We are in Austin, Texas. We only adopt within the Austin Texas Metro area (all surrounding communities are fine–no out of state, shipping, etc.).
Please, email us to receive an application and set up a time to meet Tiger. We are entirely foster-home based. Since we do not have a shelter, we must ask that you set an appointment for all visits. Thank you!
